This will be an ongoing (whenever I feel like it) piece paying homage to the most beautiful & sexy women of the 1980s and 1990s.
First, Cindy Crawford:
The Illinois native supermodel with the supermole, here’s to you!
They don’t make supermodels like her very often, if ever.
Your pal,

The recent Star Magazine, Bodyguards Tell All article said that Jennifer Aniston barely likes to wear clothes and is constantly parading around in a bikini or less, proudly showing off her body. It specifically said she often answers the door in a camisole and panties.
So in the interests of quality reporting, here is a depiction [...]

As a huge vintage GNR fan, I was eagerly awaiting the day that “Chinese Democracy” would finally be released. I missed the chance to see the band live back in the ole days, and had tickets to see the “Chinese Democracy” tour in London, England in 2001 (the show was canceled … shocking!).
Anyway, I went [...]
Stop! Hammertime! No, really. STOP.
“Harem” pants, popularized by MC Hammer in the late 1980s, appear to be making a return. Double-you-tee-eff.
These? Are not flattering. The saggy crotch isn’t a good look for man, woman, or newborn baby. Comfy? Perhaps. But since when has beauty gone hand-in-hand with comfort?
The good news is that perhaps the fashion [...]

The Tuesday Ten: Best TV Love Triangles
Ahhh … the television love triangle. Cause of much debate, reflection, and gnashing of teeth. Nine times out of ten, the TV love triangle holds a woman at the vertex, forced to choose between two guys. In my personal life, I’ve always been fighting the losing battle for a [...]
And no … “Show Me the Money” won’t be on the list, because the scene is so much more than that iconic line. Ditto “You complete me.”
Tom Cruise may (allegedly) be a crazy loon, but he shines in this movie, likely my favorite of all time.
1. “You see this jacket I’m wearing, you like it? [...]

No, seriously. The fabled Guns N’ Roses album, which has been in production since before Miley Cyrus was on this earth, is hitting stores next month. For reals. For heavy metal fans, this news is akin to finding out the truth behind the JFK assassination. The last time new music from Axl and his [...]

With the worldwide economic slowdown upon us, what are going to be the “hot trends” of 2009 and beyond? Well, here are a few things that should be gaining massive popularity in the coming months — be a trend setter and jump on board now!
1. The Return of the Grunge Look – this was already [...]

VH1, master of all things in list form, has released its listing of the best 100 songs from the hip-hop genre. Leading the list is Public Enemy’s “Fight the Power,” and not just because Flava Flav has whored himself out shamelessly for the network. THREE TIMES.
Number two, “Rapper’s Delight” by the Sugarhill Gang, a song [...]

The Tuesday Ten: Famous Frontmen, Anonymous Bands
Back in the day, bands were about ensemble and energy. The Beatles. The Stones. The Jackson Five. These days, it’s usually only boy bands and pop acts that have defined personalities for all of their members. Here are ten bands with a very recognizable [...]

I assume the above picture was an homage, but wouldn’t it be amazing if it wasn’t?
I don’t know about you, but I pretty much NEVER watched Everybody Loves Raymond when it was on the network airwaves the first time around. I remember it was a popular show, but I figured it was just a typical [...]

This is based on personal experience, and concerns some common differences between women in their 20s and in their 30s … based on this moment in time. Obviously this is about generalities and every individual is different.
In my view, most of this stems from a “generational” difference between those who grew up in the 80s/early [...]

RUSH - “But Neil Peart is the greatest drummer ever, man.”
IRON MAIDEN (maybe in 1985, but not now)
COLDPLAY – the sad thing here is that guys think that liking Coldplay will get them laid, or get a Gwyneth Paltrow type … more like a “friend zone” can’t close the deal type
PHISH – Unless you have [...]

Into every generation, a slayer is born. Also? A teen-pop renaissance. Every girl needs the option of obsessing about something completely unattainable in their teen years. Follow the bouncing ball.
In the late 1970s, the Bay City Rollers, David Cassidy, and Leif Garrett ruled.
The late 1980s (specifically 1988 and beyond) brought us the New Kids on [...]

There are plenty of wonderfully awful husbands on the tube – Melrose Place’s Michael Mancini takes the proverbial cake there – but there are also husbands that any girl would be lucky to have. Sweet, faithful, appreciative, and kind, these ten men give marriage a good name.
1. Harry Goldenblatt, Sex and the City (Evan Handler). [...]

Billboard, which has tracked the American Top-40 charts since the dawn of time (or 1955) has produced its list of the biggest chart hits of the past 53 years.
Topping the chart of charts? Chubby Checker’s “The Twist.” Come on, baby! Believe it! It had two separate runs on the charts, in 1960 and 1962.
Here’s the [...]

A fan jumped onstage, ran full speed, and pushed Oasis Guitarist/Songwriter Noel Gallagher hard off the stage at their weekend concert in Toronto, Canada. Noel’s ribs and hip were injured in the fall.
The Canuck who commited the act was described, by me, as a “probably drunk, mulletted, hockey hooligan, like many Canadians”.
What was that all [...]

Across the globe, there are talented actors struggling for work. Slaving away for minor roles in dinner theaters, passion plays, and foreign soap operas. Meanwhile, in unrelated news, Charlie Sheen continues to star in a top-rated sitcom.
Those aforementioned poor saps are anonymous but there are some talented cats in Hollywood that deserve [...]

I am 10 minutes into the new 90210 (TiVo’d from last night) and I am quietly reeling in pain.
First of all, I love how they shoehorn a minority into the cast by having a black kid be adopted into a family of white folks. God forbid there be a whole family consisting of persons of [...]
